CISD Ag Mechanics could use your help!! If anyone has any scrap metal (pipe, angle iron, flat iron, c-channel, square tubing, etc.) the Ag Mech class could use your help. Drops from projects or leftovers would be great. We are not looking for "new" full sticks or joints. Small pieces (6" or longer) can be used to practice cutting and welding. I understand scrap metal is bringing good money right now, but our kids and I would greatly appreciate anything you could donate to the Ag Mech program. Thank you! 1/8/2024 Parents and Spectators, As you may know UIL and the Texas High School Basketball Officials Association are increasing the expectations of spectator behavior at junior high and high school athletic events. It is also the goal of Cherokee ISD to provide a safe and positive environment for both teams competing. Please be aware that Cherokee ISD can remove a parent or spectator from the premises and prohibit them from attending future events due to undesirable behaviors. Game officials can ask that school administrators remove a fan from the facility as well. Expressing dissatisfaction in a degrading and/or aggressive behavior towards officials, coaches, or players will result in the removal of the spectator. If a spectator is ejected from a contest by a game official, the spectator will not be allowed to attend any games/events home or away in that sport for the remainder of the season. The district has had a difficult time securing officials for games this year. If we have incidents in which spectators must be removed, the officiating organizations can refuse to officiate our games. We want our athletes to be able to compete, but we cannot play without officials for our varsity games. The district asks that spectators be mindful of their conduct and behavior not only at home games but also while visiting other districts. Sincerely, Jennifer Bordner Superintendent

Today is theThanksgiving dinner at school. Thank you for those who made reservations in advance. We will not be able to accept addition guests due to limited supplies.

There will NOT be a concession stand at the Regional Quarterfinal playoff game in Winters on Friday 11/17/23. Kickoff is at 6:30pm. Come cheer on our Mighty Indians!!!

Cherokee FFA competed at the Bluebonnet District Leadership Development Events on 11/8/23 In Marble Falls. Congratulations to the Greenhand Chapter conducting and the Senior Farm Skills for advancing to Area!!!!!
